Football on TV this week: Matches to watch & live stream in UK today, tomorrow & this weekend

Football never stops – pandemics aside – whether it is the Premier League, Champions League or the international games such as the European Championship, there is almost always some action to watch on television.

Here are all the fixtures that are being shown live in the United Kingdom tonight, tomorrow and this week on channels such as Sky Sports, BT Sport, Premier Sports, La Liga TV,  BBC, ITV and more.

Thursday January 7

Premier Sports is showing Copa del Rey action involving Valencia.

Friday January 8

Liverpool lock horns with Aston Villa on Friday evening in the pick of the live games on TV and that is being broadcast on BT Sport.

Bayern Munich are also in action on the BT Sport network as they face off against Borussia Monchengladbach .

Saturday January 9

Saturday is absolutely packed with live football offerings on television, with games taking place across the day.

FA Cup games are being shown live on BT Sport and BBC, with a handful of matches available on the FA Player.

Arsenal play Newcastle United on BBC in the early evening, with Manchester United in action against Watford later in the day.

Barcelona and Real Madrid both play games live on La Liga TV, with Barca taking on Granada and Real facing off against Osasuna.

Sunday January 10

Live FA Cup action continues on Sunday, with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City in action. 

Two behemoths of Dutch football – Ajax and PSV – collide on Sunday and that game can be watched for free if you have the LiveScore app.

In the evening, Premier Sports is showing Juventus versus Sassuolo and earlier in the day Roma take on Inter .

Monday January 11

Celtic will attempt to revive their season after a disappointing Old Firm defeat to Rangers as they take on Hibernian live on Sky Sports.

Tuesday January 12

Sky Sports has a Premier League feast on Tuesday with Manchester United playing Burnley and Newcastle United taking on struggling Sheffield United. Everton are also in action on the network as they face Wolves.

BT Sport is showing AC Milan as they play Torino in the Coppa Italia, while La Liga TV has the showdown between high-flying Atletico Madrid and Sevilla.

Wednesday January 13

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus are in live televised action against Genoa on BT Sport, with the network also broadcasting Paris Saint-Germain versus Marseille.

Manchester City take on Brighton in the Premier League – also on BT Sport – while Tottenham play Aston Villa live on Sky Sports.

Wednesday is bookended with Copa Libertadores action on BBC, with a potential Superclasico final on the cards as River Plate play Palmeiras and Boca Juniors play Santos.
